Fashion photography

Photography is an adventure just as life is an adventure. If a man wishes to express himself photographically, he must understand, surely to a certain extent, his relationship to life. I am interested in relating the problems that affect me to some set of values that I am trying to discover and establish as being my life. I want to discover and establish them through photography.

Fashion is a social agreement -- the result of a consensus of a large group of people.

As a fashion Photographer

Art is subject to arbitrary fashion.

The goal I seek is to have people refine their style through my clothing without having them become victims of fashion.

IN THE NAME OF FASHION

Fashion means the prevailing mode in such things as are subject to change in form or style, as in ornaments, etiquette and dress. This is the age of fashion, which is not only confined to our dress, but also in the way we speak, behave, and decorate our houses and our lifestyle in general. Fashion encompasses the total spectrum of human activity. In the words of George Bernard Shaw, “Fashion is nothing but induced epidemic.” Fashion plays an extremely vital role in our lives that we are likely to strike a discordant note if we are not in tune with the times. Someone whose sense of fashion does not fall in line with the latest fashion trends, stands out as a sore thumb and is considered eccentric or weird by others. College is the time when staying updated about the latest fashion fads, holds a lot of importance. In the words of Yves Saint Laurent, “A good model can advance fashion by ten years.”

Growing up, I was the plain one. I had no style. I was the tough kid with the comb in the back pocket and the feathered hair.
